My Explorations into A.I.

Using the brand new musical generative ai tool, MusicLM, from Google AI Test Kitchen, I was able to input a text prompt and receive an musical audio output. I decided to use a prompt to create an anime fight song and got spectacular results!

Using LLM’s (ChatGPT) I work with it to educate myself on musical notation/language. With no prior experience with written music, I worked with ChatGPT to compose an original score, iterating on my prompts to add depth to the music, as well as adding a bpm and harmony. This original score I’ve titled “JoyfulGPT”, inspired by the prompt for the music!

Using a LLM (ChatGPT) I wanted to explore how I could take a tabletop/card game I invented to life using code. With no coding experience, I used ChatGPT to determine that I could easily use Python code to simulate a game, setting its rules and functions. After numerous iterations to better define functions and components of the game, I have a function simulation that runs a full game, with 80% of the rules of the game operating.

Next steps are to incorporate player interaction to create a playable text-based monster hunting game. Followed by finalizing and refining remaining rules/abilities.

One of my first explorations into LLM’s (ChatGPT) was to use ChatGPT to create a children’s story, appropriate for my 7-year old. I did this with my son, and he requested a story about “a good Witch”. A few nights that week, we asked for an additional adventure for “Greta the Good Witch”!

Using LLM’s (ChatGPT) I helped an HR acquaintance create a formula to streamline their Excel spreadsheet tracking PTO. Using precise prompting, and designated cell assignment in excel, ChatGPT helped me create a robust/complex formula to calculate how many PTO days employees get, based on tenure and title factors, while also prorating any instances where an employee saw a mid-year increase in PTO due to promotion or tenure.

I was able to do all of this without feeding any data from the sheet, ensuring data security.
